Social Media, Artificial Intelligence, Technology (S.A.T), The Future of Education
The second edition of the Inter-School Competition, themed “S.A.T – The Future of Education,” aims to explore the dynamic and transformative roles of Social Media, Artificial Intelligence, and Technology in reshaping Nigeria’s educational landscape. This forward-thinking initiative will engage secondary school students across the FCT, Abuja in a multi-stage competition designed to foster research, public speaking, innovation, and critical thinking.
By challenging participants to examine and present ideas on how emerging digital tools can enhance learning outcomes, bridge educational gaps, and empower the next generation, the competition serves as a platform for cultivating future-ready minds. With a total prize pool of up to One Million Naira. This Competition will inspire academic excellence and digital literacy while encouraging collaborative learning and thought leadership among young Nigerians.
Timeline: The competition will run from August 15th to September 27th, 2025, with scheduled activities and evaluation occurring weekly through the six stages. 60% of the participation will be online. The Semi finals and the finals are scheduled to take place on the 20th and 27th of September. Saturday the 27th of September will mark the finals and the student tech conference.

Meet Mishael Onwe
Mishael Onwe is an educator and advocate for innovative learning with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry Education from the University of Abuja. With over three years of experience teaching secondary school students, he is deeply committed to the personal and academic development of teenagers, particularly those aged 10 to 18.
A passionate proponent of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Mishael is especially focused on advancing Quality Education (SDG 4). He envisions innovation as a powerful tool for individual, family, societal, and national transformation.
- Mishael is the Convener of the ISEP Inter-School Competition, the Project Manager, and the Executive Director of the Mishael Onwe Foundation, where he leads impactful programs that empower youth through education and innovation.
